Mathew Lamont is the Founder and Managing Director of Colain. He has a degree in Civil Engineering with European Studies from the University of Strathclyde, UK. He is a Chartered Engineer (MICE), Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB) and Member of the Association of Project Managers (MAPM). Mathew has worked with a number of high profile international firms including Bovis Lend Lease, AECOM, Turner & Townsend and Compass.

Stuart leads our day to day operations. He has extensive experience of delivering high end fit-out projects throughout the Middle East and South Africa. Having worked with operators such as Sunset Hospitality and Addmind throughout his time in Dubai, he is perfectly attuned to the intricacies of the F&B world. Stuart also had extensive residential experience.

Donal is a well versed and experienced Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in contracting prior to taking up his role as a PMC. Using his skillset from his previous contracting roles, he has developed strong relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers he works with to ensure successful delivery of projects, within time and budget. Delivering various high end F&B projects to date, his solution-minded approach assists project stakeholders to overcome unavoidable challenges.

Daniall is a Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB) with a First-Class Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Strathclyde. With 12 years of experience across various sectors, he has played a pivotal role in iconic London projects such as One Park Drive Tower and the Museum of London. Daniall is skilled in managing both large and small-scale projects and has collaborated with renowned architects like Herzog & de Meuron and Zaha Hadid.
His career includes working with design practices in central London and international main contractors such as Laing O’Rourke, as well as leading developers like the Berkeley Group. In the Middle East, Daniall has contributed to numerous residential, commercial, and F&B projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. His technical expertise and leadership have consistently transformed challenging sites into premium, welcoming spaces that surpass client expectations.
